At Jewson, part of Stark UK, we are hiring a part‑time Yard Sales Adviser to join the growing team at our Exmouth (Withycombe Village Rd) branch.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs, and deliver and efficient service.
- Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand current and future customer requirements.
- Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter, and shop floor.
- Operate machinery safely and perform key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking, and loading vehicles.
- Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
- Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
- Load and unload vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training provided).
Working Hours
This is a part‑time role, working 22–25 hours per week over 5 days. There is also a requirement to work every other Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
