As a Business Development Manager - Broker, you will work with a portfolio of Commercial Finance Brokers to introduce business to Barclays from new and existing clients. You will be the face of Barclays, visiting clients at their premises to understand their strategic ambitions and lending needs. Flexibility and effective diary management are essential.

This role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, covering the North East region.
Purpose of the role
Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, expand the customer base, manage relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Accountabilities
* Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs, developing strategies for growth.
* Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
* Manage existing client relationships to understand needs and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
* Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business, including proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Track KPIs and report on business development activities and pipeline status.
* Contribute to strategies and initiatives to increase revenue and meet business objectives.
