We’re currently working with an MSP client who is looking to bring in an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer on an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, client-facing environment where no two days are the same.
You’ll be supporting a range of customers, handling escalations from 1st-2nd line, and working across Microsoft environments to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.
What you’ll be doing:
* Acting as a key escalation point for 1st line support
* Troubleshooting issues across Microsoft 365, Windows, and Active Directory
* Completing some more complex work through Virtualisation Tools
* Managing tickets and working to SLAs in a busy service desk
* Communicating directly with clients and providing regular updates
* Escalating more complex issues to 3rd line where needed
What we’re looking for:
* Solid 2nd line support experience within an MSP (essential)
* Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows troubleshooting skills
* Good understanding of networking fundamentals
* Experience working with ticketing systems and SLAs
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
