The Role:
The Project Support Officer/PMO for the LECP programme supports project management activities to meet project objectives. You will collaborate with the PMO Lead, Programme Manager, and project team, ensuring project standards are followed.
This role offers an excellent opportunity within a major portfolio in the (PPPT) Portfolio.
You will analyze information to aid senior management decisions and develop delivery skills, including PMO techniques and tools.
Responsibilities:
* Prioritize weekly activities and assign tasks.
* Develop and oversee MS Project Plans, RAID logs, milestones, reports, dashboards, and change controls.
* Participate in weekly governance, risk management, issue tracking, and milestone updates.
* Manage dependencies, status reports, and programme updates.
* Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, stakeholder engagement, and resource management.
* Maintain SharePoint sites and facilitate lessons learned reviews.
* Develop key documents for senior meetings and support the Programme team as needed.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience working in project teams under tight deadlines, managing priorities, and delivering quality outputs.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (MS Office, MS Project Online, Power BI, SharePoint).
* Strong organizational skills, including finance, planning, risk, and dependency management.
* Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and interpret data.
