Warehouse Stock Controller Location: Hayes Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Summary We are looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to take ownership of stock accuracy within a fast-paced warehouse operation based in Hayes. This role will focus on maintaining accurate inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and supporting operational efficiency across the warehouse. You will play a key part in ensuring stock integrity, improving processes, and providing accurate reporting to both operational teams and senior management. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of stock accuracy across the warehouse Carry out cyclical stock checks and support full stock takes Investigate, report, and resolve stock discrepancies Act as the key contact for stock-related issues (missing stock, errors, variances) Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems Process authorised stock adjustments Support stock transfers and offsite storage coordination Work closely with internal teams to resolve stock queries Produce accurate inventory reports using Excel, Word, and Outlook Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times Requirements Previous experience in a stock control, inventory, or warehouse role Strong understanding of warehouse operations (goods in, fulfilment, inventory control) Experience using WMS/ERP systems High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Confident communicator across teams and departments Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive mindset Knowledge of health & safety within a warehouse environment Able to work independently and as part of a team Skills & Attributes Methodical and detail-driven Process-focused with continuous improvement mindset Reliable and accountable Strong systems and data handling capability Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills Package & Benefits Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 Stable, long-term opportunity Growing business with progression potential Supportive operational team environment Location & Travel Based in Hayes Must be able to commute reliably
