Role:
Joining the Product Team and reporting to the Product Manager, the Assistant Demand Planner will play a key role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of products through accurate analysis and insight-led decision making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills and takes pride in delivering clear, meaningful analysis. You’ll support product supply and forecasting decisions, create reports, analyse sales performance and communicate key findings that help shape future collections. Working cross-functionally, you’ll contribute to optimised stock levels and an effective, commercially focused product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning
1. Analyse demand and supply data using Excel to assess delays, short shipments and availability risks.
2. Model freight and stock recommendations for review and approval.
3. Clearly communicate availability updates and product implications to key stakeholders.
4. Confidently use pivot tables and lookup formulas to investigate and resolve supply challenges.
Order Placement
5. Support seasonal and ongoing product ordering using in-house Excel models.
6. Take a structured, detail-focused approach to creating internal stock orders.
7. Act as a key point of contact for Customer Services and Supply teams regarding purchasing and stock queries.
Forecasting
8. Analyse historical sales data to inform future purchasing decisions.
9. Combine data insight with commercial judgement to provide clear recommendations.
10. Build fashion order volume proposals and gain sign-off from senior stakeholders.
11. Propose size ratios based on sales analysis and collaboration with the Design team.
12. Prepare Excel-based analysis for development and sign-off meetings.
13. Deliver pricing and competitor analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities.
14. Support the range-building process, documenting collections in a structured range plan format.
Planning
15. Run and validate reports to support decision making, adapting pivot tables to meet new requirements.
16. Create PowerPoint presentations highlighting key sales trends and insights for the Sales team.
17. Manage sales samples, coordinating with Supply to meet deadlines and track progress.
18. Support ongoing review of core style performance and maintain accurate product data within internal systems.
19. Own the creation and delivery of seasonal key account materials.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Working
20. Develop a strong understanding of current and historic product collections.
21. Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply teams, acting as a go-to contact for product and availability queries.
