School Vacancy
Carr Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Site Assistant to join our school team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the school buildings and grounds are safe, secure and in proper working order, maintaining a safe working environment for all. The school was built in 1949 and as well as classrooms, a swimming pool, the main hall and office space within the school, we have a lot of space around the school, consisting of two concrete play areas and a large school field.

Requirements
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work as both part of a dedicated team and independently.
* Commitment to providing the best environment for our children to learn in.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* All appointments are made in accordance with safer recruitment practices and statutory guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education.
* Online checks will be carried out on all shortlisted candidates; all appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and checks regarding suitability to work with children.
* This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Disqualification Declaration.
