Key responsibilities:
* Demonstrate a number of competencies within relevant cells to support the changing needs of the customer
* Apply procedures detailed within the appropriate assembly instructions and specifications as defined by the Team leader
* Record issues affecting the daily short interval management (SIM) objectives
* Comply with the Quality, Environmental Management systems, Health & Safety Policy and Housekeeping 5S process
* Complete standard tests and inspection against quality standards
* Suggest proposals to improve the working procedures and cells
* Identify and express to the team leader any risks regarding health and safety, quality and environment, including all incidents and near misses
* All lost time in production is known and recorded
Essential Requirements
* Understand assembly drawings and work instructions
* Understand schematic wiring diagrams
* Able to assemble mechanical/electrical switchgear using assembly drawings
* General experience with assembly hand tools and wiring tools ie crimping tools, spanners sockets etc
* Preferable that the applicant has experience in assembly switchgear or similar products
Applicant should be able to wire a small LV panel using a block diagram
