You’ll oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure our products deliver real value to the housing and energy sector.

Your role at BRE
You will take ownership of the Housing & Energy product portfolio, ensuring products are aligned with BRE strategy, perform commercially, and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through to launch, enhancement, and retirement
* Developing and maintaining product roadmaps that support BRE’s strategic objectives
* Monitoring product performance, including commercial success, customer feedback, and market relevance
* Collecting, analysing, and prioritising customer, market, and business requirements to shape product improvements
* Undertaking market and competitor research to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
* Building compelling business cases to justify product investments and enhancements
* Supporting pricing decisions for products and services
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams—development, sales, marketing, operations, and subject matter experts—to deliver product outcomes
* Communicating product strategy, performance, and roadmap updates to stakeholders
* Representing BRE and the Housing & Energy products at industry events, seminars, and webinars
* Ensuring alignment with BRE’s wider product portfolio for consistency and strategic coherence
What we are looking for
Essential:
* Experience managing products through the full lifecycle, from concept to development, launch, continuous improvement, and retirement
* Strong understanding of how to monitor and report on product performance, including commercial and customer impact
* Experience contributing to pricing decisions and supporting commercial strategy
* Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver aligned outcomes
* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and support data-driven decision making
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, including the ability to manage expectations and escalate issues appropriately
* Ability to interpret complex technical or policy documents and translate insights into actionable product decisions
* Proficiency with MS Excel for analysis, reporting, and data-informed decision making
Desirable:
* Experience or familiarity with housing, energy efficiency, or sustainability-focused products or services
* Knowledge of housing or energy policy, regulations, or government frameworks
* Understanding of environmental, social, or economic sustainability in building operation or retrofit

Work Location Options
Hybrid – This role offers a mix of home and office working. You will need to be within commuting distance of our Watford office, as you will be expected to attend in person (once per week)
Our Recruitment Process
If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend a virtual Assessment Centre day on 14th April 2026. Please ensure you are available on this date, as it cannot be rescheduled. The day will include practical, interactive activities followed by a 50-minute interview with our subject matter experts, giving you the opportunity to showcase your product management skills and experience.
Following the Assessment Centre, successful candidates will be offered the Product Manager role, with start dates agreed in line with business needs.
