About the Job
We are seeking an experienced UI Engineer (React and TypeScript) with strong expertise in the banking domain who will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects.
Hybrid Working
The working arrangement will vary according to the role and business needs; it will involve a blend of company offices, client sites, and home office. Working from home 100% of the time will not be possible.
Your Role
We are looking for a highly skilled UI Engineer to build and scale reusable UI components and applications that form the core of several strategic programmes. The position operates at the intersection of engineering design and product, working closely with cross‑functional teams including other engineers, architects, and UX designers to deliver high‑quality, performative, and maintainable user interfaces.
Your Skills
* Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript
* React modern hooks‑based development
* Tailwind CSS
* Experience working on both component libraries and design systems
* End‑to‑end UI applications
* Proven ability to translate Figma designs into production‑ready code
* Strong understanding of UI architecture, reusable patterns and performance optimisation
* Experience collaborating within cross‑functional teams, engineering, UX and product
* Ability to handcraft high‑quality frontend code with attention to detail
