Lab Support Team Member Job Purpose: To be responsible for provision of services to support assigned laboratories and associated GMP areas within RB Hull R&D site. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Undertake specific training if required by the business. Ensuring procedures are adhered to. To attend team/ client meetings, as required. To maintain and upkeep training file to ensure training and SOP’s are up to date. To provide cover in other roles within the team as required by lab support team management. Ensuring adherence to GMP, GDP standards of excellence at all times. Comply with all client policies / procedures / security. Responsible for own health and safety and all personnel in the vicinity. To provide a smart appearance including high standards of personal hygiene and cordial behaviour. Full uniform to be worn. Acting as point of contact for client queries and requests. To accurately complete the LST daily task tracker for assigned areas/ tasks. Distribution and removal of stability trays from assigned laboratory areas. Conducting the monthly scheduled GMP cleans of stability chambers. Ensure daily collection and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous solvent waste from assigned labs. Ensure daily collection and disposal of contaminated and non-contaminated sharps and glass waste from assigned labs. Ensure daily replenishment of satellite stores with solvents, chemicals, and lab consumables in a timely manner to avoid out of stock situations. To highlight non-lab store items and raise to be requested on Quartzy website with management. Providing assistance with the monthly chemical disposal procedure, as required To complete daily checks of the R&D healthcare disposal store and manage pallets due for disposal in a timely manner. Cleaning of GMP areas, equipment, and pallets, as requested. Completion of any ad hoc work at the reasonable request of management. Key Performance Indicators No justifiable complaints from departmental leads / client staff within your scope of works. • No issues and concerns highlighted in relation to health and safety. • Trained to the required standard. • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations relating to SSOW, H&S and KPI’s.
