You will be responsible for the instruction of military students in Workshops techniques. The purpose of this role is to provide the delivery of Workshops Techniques to Royal Navy students on their Phase 2 and 3 career courses. This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non‑working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. What you’ll be doing:
Responsibilities
* Deliver practical workshop techniques to Royal Navy students in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
* Teach up to 16 students per class.
* Work collaboratively with Learning & Development and the team of 10 instructors.
* Support continuous improvement and learning, including electrical testing, hand tools, soldering and tool handling.
* Be results‑oriented, supporting quality and delivery improvements across learning programmes.
* Be a team player with experience leading and collaborating across teams.
* Understand business strategy and support identifying solutions to deliver that strategy.

Qualifications
* Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent.
* Teaching, instructing, or coaching experience is an advantage.
* UK Security Clearance at SC level required.
