Commissioning Support Specialist
Location: East Anglia (occasional visits to sites in EA), 1 day onsite per week
Contract Length: 3 Months

What You'll Do:
As a Commissioning Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in auditing and enhancing project readiness for commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting Audits:
Perform initial audits of NGET, Contractor, and Customer commissioning preparedness.
Deliver concise written risk assessments and actionable recommendations to ensure projects are on track.
Site Visits:
Undertake 1-2 day site visits, working through projects based on a priority list established by the NGET team.
Ensure project teams are well-prepared for visits to maximize efficiency.
Documentation Review:
Analyze NGET contract documents for commissioning readiness and conduct gap analyses.
Advise on customer commissioning planning and assess contractor/customer team experience.
Problem-Solving:
Recommend mitigations for identified issues and assist project management teams with technical details for escalation.
Exceptional Circumstances:
Under special conditions, carry out delegated tasks to support early-stage design reviews and document preparation.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Must-Have Experience:
NGET TP141 Advanced Commissioning Engineer.
Desirable Experience:
NGET Commissioning Panel Chair.
Former NGET Lead ACE.
Your Work Environment:
You'll work independently while prioritizing tasks set by Anglias management (3x SPMs and 1x PD) monthly.
Develop consistent outputs across the region while fostering strong links with AO commissioning specialists.
Flexibility & Support:
Support 1-2 projects per week, with the potential for part-time options.
Engage in standardised reporting based on NGET SRs/BPs to enhance efficiency.
Compensation:
We aim to establish a Purchase Order for a fixed amount, invoicing monthly based on pre-agreed rates.
Full-time, fixed period contracts are also negotiable.
