Job Summary
As a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform nuclear medicine procedures, conduct calibration and quality checks, practice radiation safety, and observe universal precautions.
You will:
* Order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals.
* Administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously or via venous line as authorized by a physician.
* Perform decontamination procedures and maintain security in 'hot' and 'decay' areas.
* Participate in on-call duties and work variable shifts as needed.
Qualifications include:
* Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
* Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
* Basic Life Support certification.
* Ability to perform procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
