Job Title: Resident MEP Project Engineer Location: Stansted Airport, Essex, CM24 1RW, United Kingdom Contract Type: Temporary (Contingent Worker) Start Date: 02/02/2026 End Date: 31/08/2026 Hours: 40 hours per week / 5 days per week Minimum on-site presence: 3 days per week Maximum on-site presence: 5 days per week IR35 Status: Off Payroll Working Applies (Inside IR35) Qualifications Required: HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline Vetting Required: Yes, BPSS level Role Overview: We are seeking two STN-TP Project Engineers (MEP / Fitout) to support the Project Manager in delivering multiple projects across both design and on-site execution phases. The successful candidates will bring strong fit-out experience and ideally a background in aviation or similarly complex operational environments Key Responsibilities: Support project delivery from design through to site implementation Manage and coordinate contractor drawing submissions and SME reviews via Aconex Track and ensure timely close-out of design comments Lead design management activities and ensure alignment with project requirements Review and respond to technical queries related to contractor designs Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain project momentum and quality Requirements: Proven experience in fit-out projects, ideally within aviation or transport infrastructure Strong understanding of design coordination and document control systems (e.g., Aconex) Ability to manage technical reviews and resolve design-related queries Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Willingness to be based on-site at Stansted Airport up to three days per week
