A large portion of the scheme consists of Housing Association plots, meaning faster build cycles, tighter programme control, and frequent inspections. This role is ideal for an ASM who thrives in a high-tempo, compliance-led environment.
Key Responsibilities – HA-Focused
• Support the SSM / SM with the day-to-day delivery of a fast-paced HA programme
• Take responsibility for internal/external packages and ensure plots progress to HA deadlines
• Maintain strict control of programme dates, sequencing and milestones, especially during peak handover periods
• Coordinate with HA representatives, building control and warranty providers to ensure smooth inspections
• Drive build quality and ensure all HA compliance standards are met at every stage
• Prepare plots for rapid cycles of:
1. Pre-plaster inspections
2. First fix / second fix checks
3. QA sign-offs
4. NHBC stage inspections
5. CMLs and final HA handovers
• Manage snagging efficiently to achieve quick turnaround times
• Keep all compliance documentation and site records accurate and inspection-ready
• Give clear direction to subcontractors to support productivity and build efficiency
• Uphold Health & Safety standards across a busy, fast-moving site
• Support the wider team by helping deliver multiple completions per week when required
Experience
• Experience working on HA or mixed-tenure schemes
• Strong background in traditional build
• Proven experience as an ASM in a high-pace production team
• Excellent understanding of HA compliance, quality benchmarks and inspection processes
• CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold Awareness (or equivalent)
