Gold Education Recruitment is pleased to be working with a good, well-regarded secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford, currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable ICT & Computing Teacher to join their forward-thinking department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to join a supportive school with strong leadership, good behaviour, and a focus on high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons and help students develop essential digital skills.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Teaching ICT and Computing across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable)
• Delivering lessons in areas such as programming, algorithms, data, and digital literacy
• Planning well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Supporting students of mixed abilities to make strong progress
• Assessing work and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Computing department
• Contributing positively to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching ICT and/or Computing in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge, including programming and computer systems
• A positive, professional, and engaging teaching approach
• Ability to build strong relationships with students
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
