Our client is a well-established law firm and home to an exceptional commercial disputes practice. The team handles high value commercial litigation on behalf of diverse clients including listed corporates and PLCs, owner managed enterprises and investors.
For strategic and succession reasons, the firm is keen to appoint a commercial litigation partner as a key member of their already very successful disputes practice. The firm has a strong and consistent throughput of quality work and can provide a new incumbent with a soft landing and the opportunity to get busy straight away.
Joining a heavyweight team with such deep expertise in all facets of commercial litigation, mediation, adjudication and dispute resolution, this is an opportunity to be part of one of the leading lights in the South West when it comes to high value disputes work.
Aside from bringing your excellent technical expertise (likely to include a background in running commercial contract, shareholder, or partnerships disputes work) you will be able to develop strong and sustainable client relationships, be outward facing, commercial and strategic in your approach and client led. You are likely to have around 10 years PQE although this is a guide only.
This is an excellent role which would suit a senior commercial disputes lawyer looking for a first partnership role or you may be an existing partner looking for a better opportunity to progress, whether that means having more flexibility, scope to earn greater financial reward or a greater sense of ownership over what you are doing.
