THE RED COW - ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION We are looking for an assistant manager - someone to support the General Manager - able to deputise when needed and run shifts as and when required. We are looking for someone with either managerial experience, or at least a reasonable amount of hospitality experience who is willing to learn. Farr Brew (our group) will provide training, and potentially apprenticeships. Also, qualifications can be gained through working with us The right assistant manager uplifts the dining and drinking experience for our guests. To ensure that all guests are correctly and speedily logged and processed in the most courteous way. To have a good knowledge of the menu and styles of service. To take food and beverage orders efficiently and professionally ensuring all information is correct. To be fully conversant with the table lay-up and mise-en-place prior to, during and after service. To undertake cashiering duties and take responsibility for the recording of all items on bills, process payments and adhere to correct credit policies. To promote a good team spirit and good relationship within the restaurant and kitchen brigades. To be familiar with and implement any relevant legislation i.e. liquor licensing.
