Solicitor – Personal Injury (NQ–5 PQE)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 DOE
We are working with a well-established and growing firm that is seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE) to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer to manage a varied caseload of pre- and post-litigation matters, taking files from instruction through to conclusion. Success in this role requires strong client care, a proactive approach, and the ability to work confidently under pressure.
The Role
* Manage a mixed caseload of personal injury claims from inception to settlement or trial
* Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients
* Draft pleadings, particulars, witness statements and schedules of loss
* Negotiate settlements and attend hearings or trials when necessary
* Progress files efficiently in line with service standards
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal client outcomes
* Keep up to date with PI law, CPR, and emerging case trends
Experience & Skills Required
* Qualified Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE) with experience in personal injury litigation
* Strong understanding of pre-litigation and post-litigation processes
* Excellent client care and attention to detail
* Confident drafting skills across all key legal documents
* Knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures
* Demonstrable billing record with litigated file experience
* Experience with applications, challenges, trials/disposal hearings
* Proclaim experience is an advantage
