The Role
As a Senior Planning Lawyer, you will advise on high-profile projects across the UK, working with clients in residential, commercial, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Your responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic advice on large-scale developments and infrastructure projects.
* Drafting and negotiating planning and highway agreements.
* Managing compulsory purchase orders and compensation matters.
* Advising on EIAs, HRAs, and regulatory considerations.
* Supporting judicial reviews, appeals, and inquiries.
* Collaborating across departments for integrated legal solutions.

The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with 5+ PQE in Planning Law.
* Experience with relevant legislation such as the Town & Country Planning Act.
* Proven track record with compulsory acquisitions, compensation claims, EIAs/HRA, and judicial review processes.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
