Were recruiting a Team Coordinator to help keep our Community Day Services running smoothly, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live more independent, fulfilled lives. Youll be a reassuring point of support for colleagues, help coordinate great days for the people we support, and make sure our service stays safe, responsive and person-centredboth in our buildings and out in the community.

About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service, including managing a team of staff, supporting colleagues throughout the county, assigning tasks, and ensuring the service is safe, well-led, and compliant with health and safety regulations, policies, and legislation. At the same time, you will deliver consistent, person-centred support.
Youll also keep oversight of support plans, records and staff development, including coordinating training needs and helping to ensure trainer availability for in-house sessions (e.g. moving and handling). Whilst not essential, being able to drive our service vehicles occasionally would also be an advantage.
This is a customer-facing role, and you will be expected to demonstrate a good command of spoken English to meet the requirements of the Immigration Act (2016).

11. At interview you will meet a panel of people we support and will be asked to deliver a 10-minute presentation to them followed by 5-minutes Q&A, details will be shared if successful for interview.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
