Strategic Communications Business Partner £50,500 to £55,000 FTE (full-time equivalent) plus excellent benefits (Work Level 5)
Job share role: 3 days a week (22.5 hours a week)
Manchester city centre, hybrid working, coming into the office 1 day a week and working from home the rest of the time
We’re looking for a Strategic Communications Business Partner to join our Group Communications team in Manchester. In this role, you’ll develop and deliver high-quality, engaging and educational communications to our Life Services colleagues. We’ll look to you to work closely alongside our Life Services leadership team and provide them with communications advice, with a focus on increasing colleague advocacy, trust, and engagement.
What you’ll do
* Provide strategic communications advice and plans to our Life Services leadership team, challenging where necessary
* Build Life Services colleague advocacy, trust, and engagement through creative communications campaigns that are in line with our wider business strategy
* Support change programmes with targeted and high-quality communication plans and events
* Work with the wider colleague comms team on impact and capacity planning
* Provide on-call rota cover as needed
This role would suit people who have
* Significant experience in a colleague communications or PR role
* Experience creating and delivering communication plans that are aligned to business objectives
* Experience managing budgets, with a proven track record of meeting KPIs and managing risk
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate often complex information to a non-technical audience
* Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively
