Warmley Park School currently have an exciting opportunity for a new enthusiastic, energetic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fixed term position until 31st August 2026, subject to budget review.
Working Hours: 8.45am - 3.45pm (32.5 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026; then subject to budget review.
Term: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Our SEN Teaching Assistants are key to the progress and achievements of young people at Warmley Park. We offer a thorough training and induction programme and will ensure you have the support, skills, and tools needed to deliver quality care for each learner.
Job overview
To provide assistance to teaching staff in meeting the educational, developmental and welfare needs of pupils in a special school, to assist teachers in the management and maintenance of school resources and to contribute to the supervision and welfare of pupils throughout the school.

Job requirements
* A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
* Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes
* Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff
* Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be able to build upon your existing skillset within a supportive environment, with training and development opportunities available.
