Job: CNC SLIDING HEAD SETTER/OPERATOR
ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Sliding Head Lathe Setter and Operator. Operating and setting using Fanuk, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels. You will be required to set and/or operate various CNC machines, monitoring the machining process to ensure the finished parts are to a high standard.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner to work on complex manufactured components.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the following: -
•Precision engineering to tight tolerances
•Proven experience as a CNC Lathe/Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner
•Mechanical engineering
•Reading engineering drawings
•Operating/loading machinery
•Working within an engineering environment
•Supply to high profile customers in various sectors
•Experience of operating and setting a sliding head machine
•Ability to set intricate parts for milling
•Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
•Experience with either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol is essential
•Experience of precision components is highly desirable
