Job Role This role will be working within our folding department, operating and programming Amada press brake machines whilst focusing on moving materials between departments. You will be reading technical drawings to obtain information about each job and will be required to have basic computer literacy. The department hosts 3 new press brakes which operate 3I software all including 3D models with the option of offline programming, 2 of which are 50 12’s, in addition to this we host a 100T ATC and a 100 3L. Responsibilities Operating and programming Amada press brakes. Using basic computer literacy skills to follow digital work instructions. Responsible for safe material handling and material movement between departments. Ensuring products meet quality and quantity expectations. General housekeeping of work area. Requirements Folding/press brake experience and a passion for precision. Confidence in reading technical drawings. A detail-oriented mindset and basic computer literacy to navigate our digital systems Attention to detail. Experience of hand tools desirable. Previous sheet metal experience.
