Belle Unique Ltd is growing, and we’re looking for a Graduate to Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join our small but ambitious team.
We specialise in education and public sector interiors, delivering projects across the UK, including nurseries, primary and secondary schools. Our work is design-led, highly detailed, and delivered in close collaboration with Tier 1 contractors and local authorities.
This role would suit someone early in their career who’s keen to step up, take ownership of projects, and be involved from concept through to delivery.
Working pattern:
* Hybrid role, with 2–3 days per week in our Kilsyth studio
* Applicants must be within reasonable travelling distance to the studio
What you’ll be doing:
* Assisting with and leading interior & FF&E design packages
* Producing detailed drawings, layouts and schedules (Revit preferred)
* Supporting material, furniture and finish selections
* Coordinating with architects, contractors and suppliers
* Confidently presenting designs to clients and stakeholders
* Visiting live sites to check progress and see your designs come to life
* Attending design meetings and occasional site visits (UK-wide)
* Helping develop inclusive, practical learning environments that genuinely work
What we’re looking for:
* Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
* Graduate to mid-weight level experience
* A confident communicator, comfortable hosting client presentations
* Confident with Revit (or actively learning it)
* Strong attention to detail – accuracy really matters in our world
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload
* Happy working in a small team where everyone pulls their weight
Eligibility:
* Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
* Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role
* This position is not suitable for fully remote working, as regular studio attendance is required
Why Belle Unique?
* Real responsibility and exposure to live projects
* Supportive, down-to-earth team (no egos, no nonsense)
* Opportunity to grow with the business
* Work that makes a real difference to schools and communities
Salary: £25,000–£35,000 depending on experience, with clear progression for the right person.
