Job description

We are looking to recruit an office administrator to assist in the running of the heating office, which covers Gas Boilers, ASHP, ESH, Solar PV and heating controls. Please only apply if you have previous experience (more than 1 year) working in an administration environment, with experience speaking with clients/customers on the phone.

Job description

* The successful applicant will provide administration to the Heating Department and all areas of the company.
* You will start by helping with all main administration duties within the office, focusing on heating measures.
* You will be using all Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel and Word,
* You will deal with incoming emails, paperwork, and inputting data onto spreadsheets.
* Liaising with the engineers.
* You will deal with each installation from customer enquiry, establish eligibility and meeting compliance audits to surveys, to ordering parts, watching jobs through to install and claiming for the funding.

Skills Required:

* Excellent IT skills, including the ability to use all Microsoft programs
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail with accuracy
* Can work well in a team and under your initiative
* Able to take instruction well and absorb and retain information.
* Normal office hours are 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday
* 40 hours per week – salary to exceed NMW
* Start date ASAP, and there will be a three-month probation period
* This position would suit someone who can grow and adapt within the role with the view to take on more senior responsibilities in time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
