As Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for small to mid market client business by effectively developing relationships with client contacts at middle to senior management level. The role is also focused on the generation of new business opportunities via mid Corporates (direct and brokered) and focused on cross selling our Dental and Cash Plan products.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
1. Pro-actively manage, develop and renew portfolio of mid market clients through developing and maintaining relationships
2. Agree 12 month account management plans to include presentation of Bupa’s range of products and services and achieve business levels in line with agreed targets, objectives and client service levels
3. Make clients aware of Bupa’s range of products and services and identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients
4. Introduce and expand non-PMI products with new and existing client base while retaining account profitability by managing issues and delivering against agreed service level
5. Maintain knowledge of non-PMI products and able to identify relevant prospects for non-PMI products but also retain profitable PMI and non-PMI business
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
6. Previous experience within an Account Management role
7. Knowledge of the Healthcare Insurance Market would be advantageous
8. Good business awareness and sound commercial judgement
9. Excellent sales, presentation and negotiation skills
10. Experience of succeeding in the negotiations with client contacts at middle to senior management level
11. Strong verbal, written and communication skills
12. Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence
13. Understanding of relationship management skills and the ability to develop effective internal and external relationships and networks
14. Well organised with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
