Introduction Speech Pathologist - Liverpool Make a real difference working within our Services Team as a Speech Pathologist, partnering with leaders to support the teams who make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with vision and hearing loss. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity (38 hours per week) reporting directly to the Team Lead- Greater Sydney and will be based at our Liverpool Location. Description What we can offer you: Salary of up to $110,285 Super, with 100% salary packaging to maximise your take home pay Generous leave entitlements including 2 weeks paid Christmas leave in addition to 4 weeks annual leave, plus extensive personal/carer's leave Paid parental leave of 14 weeks for primary carer and 6 weeks for secondary carer Access to industry leading education, professional development opportunities and career pathways You’ll make a difference in this role by: Providing high quality, client-centred early intervention and/or speech pathology services to clients with a hearing loss and/or vision impairment Conducting speech, language and communication assessments to monitor and track outcomes and inform goals Developing, delivering and evaluating ISP and progress reports with the client, family and relevant others Implementing best practice services for clients in clinical and educational settings Providing evidence-based assessment, intervention supports and other strategies to assist clients in achieving their goals and aspirations Delivering services in person, via Telepractice, in a NextSense Centre, client home, school or other appropriate setting Using a person/family centred framework when providing services, working alongside parents/caregivers to guide, coach and educate Developing, delivering and evaluating Individual Support Plans and progress reports with the client, their family and relevant others Skills And Experiences About You: Bachelor in speech pathology or equivalent Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia Minimum 3 years’ experience providing speech pathology services Sound clinical skills and knowledge Collaborative contributor to client outcomes as a member of a multidisciplinary team Current valid driver’s licence Valid Working With Children Check and National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain) Our Purpose and Ambition NextSense is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with vision or hearing loss across Australia.
