Talking Bradford Lead

This is an exciting and ambitious partnership role working across the children's system (health, education, care, VCSE) to refine, develop, complete, and embed the Talking Bradford pathway.
The role is a 1-year fixed-term contract from commencement in the first instance.
The role involves leading efforts within the system, collaborating with partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality talking environments that form part of the Talking Bradford Pathway. The aim is to create a preventative, integrated, evidence-based, and sustainable offer for children, young people, and families.

Main duties of the job
The role requires specialist knowledge, passion, and experience working within Early Years, understanding the challenges and opportunities in the Bradford system, and prior knowledge of the Talking Bradford Pathway and early speech, language, and communication services for children and families.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Post-registration qualification (Level 7) in Child Development & Education or equivalent, or specialist knowledge in Child Development with practical experience.
* Other healthcare professional qualifications
Training
* Demonstrated reflective practice and relevant training, courses, and development
Experience
* Experience working with practitioners across organizations through partnerships
* Extensive experience in Children's Services in Bradford
* Experience with speech, language, and communication needs and contributing to the Talking Bradford Pathway
Knowledge
* Relevant practice knowledge relating to children and families
* Understanding of policies affecting Early Years and child health services
* Ability to engage and motivate diverse professionals and groups
* Promotion of evaluation and research, with ability to interpret research papers
* Experience in project management and teaching skills
Skills
* Strategic thinking and system-wide focus
