Children's Residential Support Worker - Learning Difficulties | Department: Residential
Location: Foxbrook House - Uttoxeter
Compensation: £13.85 - £14.15 per hour
Hours: full time, 2 days on, 4 days off (with a sleep night). We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work. Rotas given in advance. Pay rate includes days; sleep nights paid at £60 per night (approx. £33,059 to £33,682 per annum). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Our home in Uttoxeter is a small group home supporting two young people with learning difficulties. We are looking for nurturing and supportive residential support workers who can give our children the highest levels of care and support them to achieve amazing outcomes. The role promotes independence and life skills while ensuring safety and wellbeing underpins every decision. With the support of our expert manager and experienced team, you will help create an environment for our young people to flourish.
Responsibilities
* Promote and encourage independence and life skills for young people with learning difficulties
* Ensure safety and wellbeing inform every decision
* Provide high levels of care and support to two young residents in a small group home
* Collaborate with the management team to deliver person-centred childcare
Essential requirements
* A Full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* Experience working with children with learning difficulties (desirable)
* Values aligned with Esland, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach
* Aged 21 or above due to industry regulations
