About the company:
My client is a design and build contractor working within the office fit out sector. With over 40 years’ experience projects are typically between 2,000 square feet up to 12,000 square feet, CAT B or CAT A+ with values up to £1m mainly within central London.
About the role:
This role requires an experienced Estimator/Pre-contracts Manager to join their skilled team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the commercial design and build sector, capable of producing precise cost estimates to enhance their business prospects. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position involves collaborating with the design team to define project scopes and create comprehensive cost plans. The role contains various responsibilities, including subcontract package preparation, cost analysis, payment processing, and teamwork with both design and project management teams. While mainly an independent role, teamwork is crucial during initial scope development and when addressing project variations or site-related cost inquiries. Office-based work with occasional remote flexibility may be considered.
