The Role
We’re seeking two enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturers in Yacht Management, appointed on a casual basis. These roles are dedicated to creating engaging, industry‑aligned learning resources for yacht‑specific modules, ensuring accurate regulatory context and real‑world maritime relevance. Working in close partnership with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), you’ll support the development of a qualification that B&FC is currently the only provider approved to deliver via blended learning.
How You’ll Make an Impact
2. Develop robust, engaging, and industry‑aligned learning resources for specialist Yacht Management modules, ensuring they reflect current maritime regulations and professional practice.
3. Monitor and support student progress, achievement, and development to ensure a positive learning experience.
4. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of yacht operations, regulatory frameworks, and effective digital and face‑to‑face pedagogies.
5. Engage in professional practice, research, and academic activity to strengthen programme quality and relevance.
