Salary: 45,000 to 50,000
An opportunity has opened for an Operations Manager to join a manufacturing and engineering company based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team within operations and have experience in the Engineering industry.
Operations Manager Key Skills:
* Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
* Experience of people management or leading teams
* Excellent understanding of supply chain and procurement
* Quality assurance experience
* ISO 9001 understanding
* Process improvement experience
* Purchasing experience
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
* Managing supply chain and procurement activities
* Overseeing purchasing to ensure cost effective source of materials
* Drive continuous improvement
* Monitor and improvement quality assurance methods
* Build and maintain supplier relationships
* Oversee supply chain to ensure projects are completed on time
