Placement Student - Marketing Communications

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications student to join our team specializing in Communications for our Power Systems in Sandwich, Kent. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you need to become an expert in the industry.
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence summer 2026.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Power Systems Business Unit (PSBU) Communications Team in partnership with peers across Power Generation, Marine, and other Industrial markets.
* Assist in the development, management, planning, and scheduling of content for social media platforms.
* Assist with the execution of external publication, customer stories, news, and press releases.
* Create content and update external website and internal intranet sites, as well as assist with literature, presentation, and display material development.
* Assist with the management of online and print advertising.
* Assist in the development and execution of events, including working with third-party relationship management.
Qualifications
* Studying towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business Studies with marketing modules.
* A motivated self-starter with basic project management skills and proficient in writing, editing, and developing content and messaging.
* Strong visual communication skills and knowledge of common digital publishing concepts and platforms.
