We have an exciting
opportunity for a Reception Manager to join our
highly successful team at The Soho Hotel.
As a Reception Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our
Reception department, ensuring that every guest receives a personalised and
unforgettable experience.
In this pivotal role, you will be part of our dynamic management team,
driving the success of our reception operations. You will need to be ambitious
and adaptable, ready to handle a variety of scenarios with ease. Your
leadership will be key in managing staff, from recruitment and training to
ongoing employee relations. Your goal will be to ensure the team is performing
at its best, providing top-tier customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the reception team with enthusiasm, fostering a positive and
productive work environment.
* Conduct annual appraisals, manage professional development, and ensure
every team member reaches their full potential.
* Uphold the high standards of Firmdale Hotels, ensuring consistency in
service and operations.
* Produce weekly and monthly departmental reports for the Deputy and
General Manager.
* Assist with daily operations, demonstrating a hands-on approach when
needed.
What you Need:
* Proven experience as a Reception Manager or Reception Supervisor in a
high-end establishment.
* Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a passion for developing
others.
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate
effectively and professionally.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment, adapting to
various situations as they arise.
* A high level of understanding of current hospitality trends and
competitor insights.
* Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to drive the
hotel's success forward.
