Overview
Care Assistants – Locations: Ards and North Down
Salary: Excellent hourly rate + mileage reimbursement
Referral Scheme: £150 refer-a-friend bonus
Contract Types: Full-time and part-time positions available

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
* Support with meals, hydration, and medication
* Light household duties (laundry, cleaning, meal prep)
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Assist with mobility and use of care equipment
* Record and report any changes in service users’ needs
* Support individuals in maintaining independence and making their own choices
* Escort clients to appointments or community activities
Shift Patterns
* Day shifts: 7:00am – 6:00pm
* Evening shifts: 6:00pm – 10:30pm
* Includes on-call hours on a rota basis

Essential Requirements
* Full UK driving license and access to a car
* A caring, compassionate, and respectful nature
* Good communication and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and use your initiative
* Willingness to complete an Access NI Enhanced Check
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including some weekends and on-call
Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience in a care role (paid or unpaid)
* Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent)
* Awareness of safeguarding and how to recognise signs of abuse
* Understanding of health and safety in home care settings
* Flexible and adaptable to meet changing client needs
