Maths Teacher – Rye, East Sussex
Location: Rye
Salary: £32,000 – £51,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September or sooner by agreement
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maths Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Rye. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring confidence in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
* Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Previous experience teaching Maths in a UK school
* Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
