This role offers ad-hoc shifts and block bookings, perfect for nurses looking to work flexibly while gaining experience across a range of primary care services. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support routine and specialist clinics, and assist with immunisations, chronic disease management, and minor procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide safe and effective care to patients in line with practice protocols Conduct routine health checks, immunisations, and screening programs Manage wound care, dressings, and chronic disease monitoring Support vaccination and immunisation clinics (flu, COVID-19, travel vaccines) Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication reviews Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff Requirements Registered Nurse (NMC) with current registration Experience working in General Practice or primary care preferred Confident using EMIS Web or similar patient record systems Strong clinical, organisational, and communication skills Flexible, professional, and reliable approach Benefits Flexible working: ad-hoc dates or block bookings to suit your schedule Competitive locum rates Gain experience in a variety of clinics and patient presentations Supportive and friendly primary care team
