Job Overview We are delighted to offer an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join the Disabilities and Mental Health Team in Wolverhampton. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high‑quality, responsive social work service to adults and carers
* Provide effective managerial leadership, including supervision, appraisal, and performance management of staff
* Offer professional advice, guidance, consultation, and coaching to team members
* Manage day‑to‑day team operations, ensuring compliance with the Waiting Well Policy
* Safeguard adults with care and support needs in line with statutory duties and best practice
* Deputise for the Team Manager as required and contribute to service, policy, and practice development
* Lead, motivate, and support staff while working collaboratively with other assistant team managers
* Promote and embed strength‑based practice across the service
