Private Client Tax Manager - Family Business

Our Private Client Team (Family Business) works with individuals, trustees, partnerships, sole traders, and family businesses in managing their tax affairs, covering compliance and advisory services. We collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm to provide integrated services to owner-managed businesses and family offices, combining expertise in accounting, audit, and relevant taxes.
As a Manager within the Family Business Private Client Tax team, you will oversee and deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will also manage and develop junior team members, review their work, and collaborate with partners and colleagues on planning projects and technical assignments. Additionally, you will participate in business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the tax compliance process for various clients.
* Leading and executing technical assignments.
* Working with partners and directors to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships.
* Mentoring and developing junior team members.
* Building relationships across departments to identify and meet client needs.
* Briefing junior staff on client businesses, supervising their work, and providing on-the-job training.

* Has experience managing personal tax compliance and advisory projects, with confidence in relationship management.
* Is interested in mentoring and developing junior staff.
