Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate home visits and transportation needs.

Duties
* Assisting residents or clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
* Supporting the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
* Providing companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care
* Ensuring a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Facilitating communication between clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent care delivery
* Assisting with light domestic tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning where appropriate
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
* Driving clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
Requirements
Experience
* Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
* Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt to support accordingly
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with clients and team members
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
* Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a team
* Valid driving licence is preferred to support home visits and transportation duties
