About The General Assistant role:
Working in the social/kitchen area, you will be providing excellent customer service to staff onsite to provide refreshments. Duties will include:
1. Arranging and providing refreshments for all booked and ad hoc meetings
2. Tidying and organising meeting rooms after meetings
3. Co-ordinating with external catering companies
4. Ensuring sufficient stock is available at all vending machine stations
5. Ensuring the kitchen has sufficient supplies, and placing regular orders as needed
6. Preparation of lunch for a couple of directors on a daily basis
7. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
8. Liaising with external caterers
9. Co-ordinating the stock maintenance and taking contactless payment for the sale of snacks in the kitchen area
10. Assisting with organising buffet lunches as and when required for special events
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
11. Previous experience in a similar customer care role, possibly in retail or catering such as a barista or food retail setting
12. As well as the above experience, some office based experience would be useful
13. Comfortable dealing with contactless handling payments
14. Professional approach with excellent communication skills
15. Flexible and positive with a can-do attitude
