The Opportunity
We are recruiting an Insurance Sales Manager to lead and elevate an established insurance sales team focused on selling insurance products to tenants.
This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who enjoys improving team performance, introducing new ideas, and driving measurable growth.
The successful hire will need to assess the team, strengthen capability, and drive performance.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a team of approximately 5–7 sales advisers, leading them to deliver stronger conversion, productivity, and overall sales performance.
The role requires a leader who is comfortable leading from the front, implementing better processes, and bringing new thinking into how the team operates.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing the B2C insurance sales team
* Taking ownership of team performance and output
* Improving capability, structure, and sales standards
* Introducing new ideas, processes, and ways of working
* Reviewing lead/data sources and improving conversion performance
* Leading by example when needed, including hands-on involvement with sales activity
* Identifying performance gaps and addressing underperformance where required
* Driving a measurable uplift in sales productivity
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a hands-on sales leader who has experience improving team performance and developing sales teams.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Experience managing a B2C sales team
* A hands-on leadership style
* Strong people leadership and coaching ability
* Confidence in challenging underperformance
* Ability to implement new ideas and processes
* Data-driven thinking around lead conversion and productivity
* Credibility with sales teams by leading from the front

📍 Peterborough – office based
Candidates should realistically be within approximately one hour commute.
Package
* Base salary: £50,000 – £55,000
* OTE: £75,000 – £80,000 realistic in year one
