Quality Inspector: You know that as quality inspector, you don't rush, you inspect, check, and sign off with confidencebecause as a Quality Inspector, you know the value of doing things properly. Every measurement matters. Every report means something. You're not here to go through the motions. You're here to make sure the parts leaving the building are spot on. This business understands you will be working in an impressive purpose built facility who have invested heavily in setting the standard. Not just for equipment or processes, but for the people who make it all work. As a Quality Inspector, you'll take the lead on inspections. First off. Final checks. Dimensional reports. You'll be trusted to do the job right and supported to keep improving things. You'll be working in a business where quality genuinely matters. They are known across the fasteners industry for getting it right first time. What kind of Quality Inspector are you? You've worked with fasteners or machined components before. You know how to use micrometers, thread gauges, calipers and profile projectors, you've done PMI and hardness testing, you can read drawings with ease and spot issues before they turn into problems. You're methodical. Detail focused. Calm under pressure. And you take pride in helping others raise their standards too. Your day to day will include: - First off, in process and final inspection - Reading and interpreting technical drawings - Dimensional reporting - Using micrometers, thread gauges, calipers and profile projector - PMI and hardness testing (Advantageous but not essential, training can be provided for right candidate) - Liaising with suppliers and customers when needed - Supporting the development of junior team members What's in it for you? - £27,000 to £30,000 salary depending on experience - Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 16:00pm - 34 days holiday including bank holidays - A proper workspace, clear standards and a team that wants to do things right If you've got the fasteners background and tick every box, but your salary expectations are slightly above the advertised range, still get in touch.
