Charles Street Finance (“CSF”) is a specialist secured lender based in Cheadle, South Manchester. Established in 1983, we’re a small team but have doubled the size of the loan book over 2 years such that we are seeking to grow and enhance the existing personnel in key areas to further facilitate our ambitions.

Job Description
As a Data Analyst you will play a key role in turning raw data into meaningful insights to help us understand and improve both financial and operational performance.
As a Data Analyst you will be involved in:
1) Data Collection and Preparation
11. Gathering data from multiple sources across the business
12. Organise, clean and structure data for analysis and reporting
2) Reporting and Insights
13. Produce regular and adhoc reports for financial and operational teams
14. Create clear, insightful visualisations and summaries to support decision making
3) Analysis and Problem Solving
15. Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities in data
16. work closely with finance and operations to answer key business questions
4) Process Improvement
17. Streamline data workflows and reporting processes
18. Improve data quality and reliability
19. Contribute ideas to improve efficiency accuracy in data handling
Qualifications
Essential:
20. Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
21. Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, SQL or Python
22. Data and Financial Modelling skills
23. Data Validation, reporting and control frameworks
24. Finance or Operational Data Background
