Accepting applications until: 27 June 2025 Job Description Your new role We’re looking for a strategic, creative Video Producer (Podcasts) who is highly experienced in entertainment formats, to take a leading role in the development and execution of Global Original Podcasts. You’ll report into an Executive Producer but operate with a high degree of autonomy, shaping the editorial vision, managing the full production process, and owning delivery from concept to launch and beyond. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for storytelling and a sharp editorial instinct, to deliver video first podcasts for both YouTube and audio platforms. You’ll be trusted to originate bold ideas, steer production teams, and cultivate strong talent relationships that result in compelling, audience-driven content. Key Responsibilities Take a leading role planning, shooting and editing video-first original podcasts Work with high-profile talent to launch and grow podcasts in audio and visual platforms Identify and manage high profile talent, helping them deliver their best work Create memorable video and audio content that drives engagement Contribute to long-term planning, performance analysis, and creative reviews You’ll be creative and full of ideas, helping us reach new audiences What You’ll Love About This Role · Think Big : Producing habit-forming video-first podcasts · Own It : Being part of a highly creative and collaborative team, leading key conversations and striving for success · Keep it Simple : Help evaluate and streamline processes · Better Together : Develop relationships withing a dynamic team, working in collaboration with people from diverse areas of the business What Success Looks Like In your first few months, you’ll have: Developed original ideas and formats aligned with Global’s podcast strategy Worked with some of the biggest talent in the podcast business Produced at least 2 x video first podcast titles on weekly basis Shaped and evolved the Podcast’s video output – from daily clips for social to full length interviews/episodes. Built strong internal and external relationships What You’ll Need The ideal candidate will have: You’ll have been a Video Podcast Producer or TV with a entertainment background A high level of creativity and imagination in both audio and video and be able to edit both Extensive experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition Knowledge and experience using After Effects would be a bonus A strong understanding of social platforms and how to optimise video and social posts for maximum engagement – including YouTube Strong talent management skills, able to work well to briefs and production deadlines Knowledge of the current podcasting landscape including an awareness of industry trends and commercial opportunities in the UK and other key markets You’ll be a consumer of podcasts across multiple categories and genres. You will be comfortable working across a range of genres with an up-to-date understanding of diversity and inclusivity Beneficial but not essential – knowledge and experience using cameras (specifically Sony) and lighting set-ups.
