SENIOR LEADER FOR SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEED & DISABILITIES (Non-Teaching) Sixth Form College's Support Staff Salary Spine points 28-31 £46,326 – £49,831 37 Hours per week We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Leader with excellent leadership skills to be responsible for the strategic and operational function of learning support provision within the College. They will play an important role in advising the Principal on the development of SEND policy and provision within the College. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Senior Leader for SEND will participate in the formulation and implementation of college strategy and policy in all matters relating to learning support and SEND. They will oversee the learning support team, with day-to-day responsibility for the operation of SEND policy and the co-ordination of specific provision for individual students, including those with EHC plans. The Senior Leader for SEND will also provide professional guidance to staff across a range of college functions and will liaise closely with parents and external agencies. The role is full-time full year, but the College is happy to consider a substantial part-time post. The successful candidate will also form part of the Safeguarding team and support with the caseload of complex child support and safeguarding matters.
