Job Description
A small, community-focused primary school in Prescot is looking to appoint a committed Level 2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
• Provide classroom support across Key Stage 1
• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Support small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs
• Deliver targeted interventions, including phonics support (training can be provided)
• Make use of outdoor learning opportunities to enhance pupil engagement
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
• Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in KS1
• Has some knowledge of phonics delivery (desirable but not essential)
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
